** Australia's Pacific Brands shares hit two-month high on sale of three loss-making divisions to concentrate on its core sheets and underwear operations

** Pacific says sold its footwear, sportswear and other sporting goods units to private equity firm Anchorage Capital Partners (Other OTC: PGPHF - news) , U.K.-listed Sports Direct International PLC (Other OTC: SDIPF - news) and Australia-listed PAS Group Ltd (http://bit.ly/1yO4iKp)

** Shares (Frankfurt: DI6.F - news) up 5 percent in intraday trading to A$0.52 ($0.45), their highest since Sept. 11

** Company says sold assets for total A$66 million, leading to a A$30 million loss
