BUZZ-Brokers get behind Pernod shares

** Pernod Ricard (Paris: FR0000120693 - news) shares outperform European sector as Bryan Garnier says the French drinks group is best placed among its peers to lead a recovery in the Chinese spirits market thanks to a better positioning of its product portfolio

** Bryan Garnier, who has a "buy" rating on Pernod and a "neutral" rating on Remy Cointreau (Other OTC: REMYY - news) and Diageo (LSE: DGE.L - news) , says Pernod is also less exposed than its peers to a decelerating U.S. market

** View echoed by Nomura, which keeps its "buy" rating on Pernod & says prefers it to Diageo

** Pernod up over 3 pct, outperforming a 2.4 pct gain in Remy Cointreau and a 0.6 pct gain in Diageo
