BUZZ-Budget Airlines: Off highs as Ryanair conf call comments temper enthusiasm

** Shares (Berlin: DI6.BE - news) in Europe's budget airlines Ryanair and Easyjet (Other OTC: EJTTF - news) off day's highs, with the latter in the red

** Ryanair's comments that it is expecting fare reduction could be weighing on stocks, an analyst said; trader also says Easyjet's numbers look lacklustre compared to Ryanair's

** Easyjet, which opened up nearly 3 pct, is now top loser on the FTSE 100, down 1.3 pct; shares have been steadily falling since the market opened

** Easyjet's results were hit in May after an air-traffic control strike, which had a much smaller impact on Ryanair

** Ryanair, now up 5.1 pct, still the top gainer on Stoxx 600 Travel and Leisure Index, but stock well off day's highs
