** However, U.S.-listed shares down 2.5 pct as analysts say deal unlikely
** "Press reports of a potential bid seem likely premature, possibly erroneous," Bernstein analysts write in a note on Monday
** "There are more arguments 'Against' a 3G acquisition of Diageo than arguments 'For'," Exane analysts wrote in a note, adding the report from Brazil's Veja newsweekly seemed a "a bit lightweight"
** "We do not see the spirits industry as ticking the M&A boxes for 3G and consider that 3G is more focused on consolidating within US food as well as on the potential leveraged buyout of Coca-Cola Co in the medium term," Nomura analysts wrote in a note
