BUZZ-Jungheinrich: unexpected rise to MDAX index
** German forklift truck maker Jungheinrich (Xetra: 621993 - news) will replace pay-TV firm Sky Deutschland (Other OTC: SKDTY - news) on Germany's mid-cap index MDAX from Thursday, moving up from the SDAX small-caps index. ** "That is a big surprise," says a local trader, adding that almost all market participants expected recently floated Zalando (Berlin: ZAL.BE - news) , or maybe online ticket seller CTS Eventim (Xetra: 547030 - news) , to replace Sky (LSE: BSY.L - news) . ** Jungheinrich, which competes with MDAX-listed Kion, rises 3.2 percent in early trade, to its highest level in more than four months. ** Jungheinrich's stock has advanced 3 percent so far this year, broadly in line with the MDAX index and outperforming a 5 percent decline by Kion. ** Jungheinrich's move to the MDAX is an unscheduled index change, prompted by the takeover of Sky Deutschland by Sky Plc. The next scheduled review of index composition is on Wednesday.
