BUZZ-Louisiana Sabine Pass LNG cargoes hits record high in Jan. -Reuters data

Reuters - UK Focus

Jan 27 (Reuters) - The number of liquefied natural gas tankers taking cargoes from Cheniere Energy Inc (Frankfurt: 580884 - news) 's Sabine Pass export terminal in Louisiana hit a record high of at least 13 so far in January, Reuters' shipping data showed.

* That topped the previous record of 12 vessels that left Sabine in December

* In total, the 13 vessels this month had the capacity to carry about 43.6 billion cubic feet of gas worth about $148 million, based on the average fuel prices in January at the Henry Hub benchmark in Louisiana

* That tops the 40.2 bcf shipped out in December (Reporting by Scott DiSavino)
