BUZZ-Louisiana Sabine Pass LNG deliveries slide in June
July 5 (Reuters) - Cheniere Energy (Frankfurt: 580884 - news) 's Sabine Pass LNG export terminal in Louisiana delivered less gas in June than the record amount sent out in May, according to Reuters data:
* The 15 tankers taking cargoes in June were capable of carrying 51.9 bcf worth about $157 million based on average fuel prices at the Henry Hub benchmark during the month
* That fell short of the 18 tankers taking cargoes in May capable of carrying 59.5 bcf of gas worth about $192 million
* Traders noted some ships were delayed due to Tropical Storm Cindy, which hit the coast near Sabine Pass in June
* There were three 0.65-bcfd liquefaction trains operating at Sabine Pass with a fourth train expected to enter service during the second half of the year
