** Gold (Other OTC: GDCWF - news) miner's shares up 0.6 pct, the only riser on London's bluechip FTSE 100 index, as the devaluation of the yuan supports gold prices

** Gold gained for 5th session in a row on Wednesday to trade near a three-week high, benefiting from safe-haven demand

** Stock one of only two risers on FTSE 350 mining index , which are hurt by a fall in copper, aluminum, nickel and silver

** Smaller peer Centamin (Toronto: CEE.TO - news) also up 1.7 pct as it reports results

** Centamin is "...set to exceed our expectations as management suggest beating guidance" Investec (LSE: INVP.L - news) analysts say
