BUZZ-Sky Deutschland down, MDAX exit looms on BSkyB takeover

** Shares (Berlin: DI6.BE - news) in Sky Deutschland (Other OTC: SKDTY - news) fall as much as 6.6 pct to their lowest level in 7 months, with traders pointing to anticipation of exchange operator Deutsche Boerse (Xetra: 581005 - news) removing the stock from the MDAX mid-cap index due to a takeover by BSkyB.

** British pay-TV group BSkyB is to own a bigger-than-expected 87 pct of Sky Deutschland once its takeover closes.

** The move means the market value of Sky's free float will be about 500 mln euros lower, according to Reuters data, putting it on par with small-caps index SDAX members such as Heidelberger Druckmaschinen.

** Deutsche Boerse's next regular index review will be held on Dec. 3.

** Sky's stock has lost a quarter of its value so far this year, under performing a 3 percent decline by the MDAX. (rm://hakan.ersen.thomsonreuters.com@reuters.net; rm://maria.sheahan.thomsonreuters.com@reuters.net)
