** SCHLUMBERGER LTD, Tuesday close $72.52, -2.70 pct premarket

** CAMERON INTERNATIONAL, Tuesday close $42.47, +45.99 pct premarket

Schlumberger (Hanover: SCL.HA - news) , the world's No.1 oilfield services company, agreed to buy oilfield equipment provider Cameron in a deal valued at $14.8 billion.

Cameron shareholders will get $66.36 - $14.44 in cash and 0.716 of a Schlumberger share - for each share held, a premium of 56.3 percent to Cameron's Tuesday close.

** TRANSOCEAN LTD (NYSE: RIG - news) , Tuesday close $12.2, -2.46 pct premarket

The world's largest offshore driller said it was planning to cancel dividend installments while potentially taking writedowns of more than 2 billion Swiss francs ($2.12 billion). The company's Swiss-listed shares fell 12.3 percent to 10.70 francs at 0710 GMT in Zurich.

** OSHKOSH CORP, Tuesday close $38.52, +9.03 pct premarket

The U.S. specialty truck maker won a $6.75 billion contract to build 17,000 light tactical vehicles to replace the aging Humvees used by the U.S. Army and Marine Corps.

** PERRIGO CO PLC, Tuesday close $178, +1.10 pct premarket

The Irish consumer healthcare company's chief executive expressed confidence on Tuesday that his company's shareholders will reject rival generic drugmaker Mylan NV's hostile takeover attempt, and said the offer is not close to what it would take to get a deal done.

** SAREPTA THERAPEUTICS INC (Xetra: AB3A.DE - news) , Tuesday close $32.58, +6.05 pct premarket

The drug developer said FDA accepted marketing application of its lead drug, Eteplirsen, in patients with a type of muscle wasting disorder.

** CENTURY ALUMINUM CO (NasdaqGS: CENX - news) , Tuesday close $4.65, -2.80 pct premarket

The company, which is owned by Glencore PLC (Xetra: A1JAGV - news) , said on Tuesday it will idle its Hawesville, Kentucky, smelter, the first aluminum plant to shut in years as sinking prices and increased Chinese exports harm producers.

** DISH NETWORK CORP (NasdaqGS: DISH - news) , Tuesday close $57.83

The pay-TV operator said its subscribers have lost access to more than 100 local stations due to a distribution dispute with Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc, affecting viewers of a string of ABC (KOSDAQ: FED642.KQ - news) , CBS, Fox, and NBC channels.

** QUALCOMM INC, Tuesday close $53.88

The chipmaker said it agreed to sell its UK L-Band spectrum to Vodafone Group Plc (NasdaqGS: VOD - news) and Hutchison (HKSE: 0013-OL.HK - news) 3G UK Ltd in two separate deals. Qualcomm (Hanover: QCI.HA - news) did not disclose the terms of the deal.

** AMEDISYS INC (NasdaqGS: AMED - news) , Tuesday close $37.55

The home health and hospice company has compiled a long list of potential acquisition targets as it prepares for a shakeout in the highly fragmented home healthcare industry, its chief executive said Tuesday.

** DYCOM INDUSTRIES INC (NYSE: DY - news) , Tuesday close $60.31

The specialty contracting services provider reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter revenue and profit as contract revenue rose 20 percent.
