U.S. stocks were poised for a flat open on Wednesday after the S&P 500 climbed to its highest level of the year and ahead of a meeting of euro zone finance ministers to discuss plans for Greece's debt. Dow Jones industrial average e-mini futures were down 0.21 percent at 17,756, S&P 500 futures were down 0.15 percent at 2,059.25 and Nasdaq 100 futures were up 0.02 percent at 4,277.

The beverage maker reported a better-than-expected fourth-quarter profit, driven by a 3 percent rise in revenue at its North American snack business.

The U.S. life and mortgage insurer reported a bigger-than-expected quarterly loss as it took an after-tax charge of $478 million related to long-term care (LTC) policies it bought before 1996.
