BUZZ-Victrex Plc: rise in full-year sales volumes lift shares
** Specialty plastics maker Victrex Plc (LSE: VCT.L - news) 's shares up 4 pct after company reports a 22 pct rise in full-year sales volumes and maintains profit forecast.
** Stock recovers from 2-1/2 month low & is among top pct gainers on FTSE-250 Midcap Index on Thursday morning.
** Company reported FY sales volume of 3,551 tonnes compared with 2,920 tonnes a year earlier, helped by strong performance in H2.
** The company, whose polymers are used in smartphones, aeroplanes and cars to oil & gas equipment and medical devices, says it saw higher-than-expected volumes in H2 of the year in consumer electronics.
** J.P. Morgan Cazanove analysts raise their full-year pretax profit estimate but maintains "neutral" rating one stock.
** Victrex, which generates most of its revenue outside the UK, warned that "currency headwinds remain considerable in 2015".
