BUZZ-View from the buyside: Investec's Brazier buys Balfour Beatty shares

** Simon Brazier, who runs Investec UK Alpha Fund, bought shares in Balfour Beatty (Other OTC: BAFBF - news) for the first time early July after the infrastructure firm issued its latest profit warning, betting that new CEO Leo Quinn will revive the company

** PM hopeful Quinn, poached to run Balfour last year after he transformed defence co Qinetiq, can get Balfour's margins up to 2-3% & start improving cashflow of the business

** Short-term hurdles: H1 results out on Wednesday, with weekend press flagging co will reveal heavy losses; a StarMine predicted surprise reading of -69 pct for BB's FY EPS strongly suggests downgrades are on their way
