BUZZ-William Hill: one of worst days this yr as H1 underwhelms

** Bookmaker William Hill on course for biggest one-day drop since January after reporting decline in H1 profit

** H1 PBT £78.7 mln, a touch light according to one broker in the pre-market, & down from £121.8 mln in same period last yr

** Co hampered by increased machine games duty & a new tax on bets made online by its UK-based customers

** Barclays (LSE: BARC.L - news) cuts FY16 EPS ests by 8% & FY17 EPS ests by 12%

** William Hill (Other OTC: WIMHF - news) also says it is moving into lotteries through acquisition of 29.4% of NeoGames, an online lottery software & services provider, for $25 mln
