Buzzard oilfield ramping up after issues last week-traders
LONDON, Jan 13 (Reuters) - The North Sea's Buzzard oilfield was ramping back up to its full production rate on Monday, industry sources said, after production issues last week.
The field suffered a full production shutdown last Wednesday and then a second problem on Friday. Buzzard's operator Nexen (KSE: 005720.KS - news) declined to comment on Monday.
"It's back up and running and has been since Saturday (Shenzhen: 002291.SZ - news) morning," one market participant said. "It's still ramping up to full rates."
Another trader said the field was "almost back to full rates". Buzzard, which is the main contributor to the Forties crude oil stream, has a maximum operating capacity of around 210,000 barrels per day. (Reporting by Claire Milhench; Editing by Louise Heavens)
