We can't get enough of Farrow & Ball and Vinterior's new collaboration

If you love upcycled furniture and you want to make a conscious effort to shop secondhand instead of buying new, then you’ll want to know all about Farrow & Ball's new collaboration with online pre-owned furniture marketplace, Vinterior.

This partnership has resulted in a limited edition capsule collection of vintage pre-owned furniture, covering everything from art deco and traditional farmhouse designs, through to more contemporary pieces – and each one has been updated using Farrow & Ball paint.

Available to buy right now, the collaboration sees three Vinterior sellers — Pato Interiors, Belton & Butler and Chloe Kempster — use the new Farrow & Ball colours, which launched last autumn, to breathe new life into vintage pieces.

Both Vinterior and Farrow & Ball hope to inspire people to try upcycling themselves, and it comes at a particularly relevant time.

'With the rising cost of living impacting many of us, buying new pieces of furniture may not be a top priority,' says Patrick O’Donnell, Brand Ambassador for Farrow & Ball. 'So, get creative and consider how to turn unloved pieces in your home to something more beautiful and fun with a little bit of paint (even better if it's some left over from a previous DIY project) and a few hours.'

Whether you opt for a deep blue or a calming green, you can instantly refresh and rejuvenate a piece of furniture that already has some great history, giving it a new chapter and lease of life in your space. Plus, this means your newly upcycled piece will be completely unique in your home.

'We've seen a lot of interest in upcycled items in the past six months, it's almost as popular as mid-century design now. Whether you're upcycling yourself or choosing a pre-owned piece which has already been restored, we see this movement continuing to grow. It's not only a better choice for the planet but often a more economical one as well,' says Vinterior Brand Director, Lucy Ward.

The Farrow & Ball x Vinterior collection is available now.
