Cary Lee Peterson Awarded Honorary Doctorate Degree for Global Peace, Humanity, and Philanthropy

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Apr 16, 2014) - H.E. Cary Lee Peterson, an American businessman, philanthropist, humanitarian, and political activist was awarded an honorary doctorate degree for international diplomacy and intergovernmental affairs by the Academy of Universal Peace of India and the Diplomatic Mission Peace and Prosperity of Europe.

Peterson was previous appointed as an ambassador of the Diplomatic Mission Peace and Prosperity for Bilateral Relations between the Americas and Europe in January 2014 and currently serves as a Main Representative to the United Nations Office at Vienna for Concile Mondial de Congres Diplomatiques des Aumoniers pour la Paix Universelle des Droits Humains et Juridiques (CMOCDAPUNDHJ) and a Main Representative to the United Nations Headquarters in New York for Centre for Climate Change and Environmental Study, an international organization in special status at United Nations Economic Social Council.

H.E. Cary Lee Peterson recently expressed to the press that his relocation to Guam was to enable his endeavors and support to the people of Micronesia and Small Island Nations. On February 24, 2014 Peterson made a public statement at United Nations PrepCom Meeting for Small Island Developing States discussing his plans for development and implementation of viable solutions to support Millennium Development Goals in the Caribbean and Asia-Pacific region.

On April 14, 2014 Peterson's endeavors and agenda for Asia-Pacific set sail following the approval of Micronesia New Millennium Program, a voluntary civil society partnership at the United Nations Sustainable Development Knowledge Platform and Third International Conference on Small Island Developing States. The new CSO member of ECCO2 Global Partners will work on job creation, sustainable housing, social development, agriculture, education, tourism, and healthcare within the Micronesian region.
