Watch: CCTV shows suspect who 'flashed 12-year-old girl' in north London

Detectives in London have released images of a man they want to trace in connection with a series of alleged sexual attacks on women and girls.

Three separate incidents in north London are believed to be linked, according to the Metropolitan Police – with one attack involving a 12-year-old girl.

Police say the first incident took place on 20 January, when a 15-year-old girl was approached by a man on Rosrevor Avenue, Tottenham, and shown pornography on his mobile phone.

The second incident took place a few weeks later on Linthorpe Road at around 7pm on 16 February.

A 12-year-old girl was walking along the road when she was approached by a man who exposed himself to her before quickly leaving the scene, police said.

At around 9pm on the same evening, a woman in her 20s who was pushing a child in a buggy on Kyverdale Road was approached by a man who pushed her and touched her on her behind before fleeing.

Detectives say none of the victims suffered any serious physical harm but all three were left shaken and upset.

Due to the timings, locations and how the victims were approached, the force is treating the incidents as linked.

Officers are now speaking to members of the community and conducting extra patrols in an attempt to reassure residents.

Detective Constable Patrick Godin, investigating, said: "We are doing everything we can to identify and apprehend the man responsible.

“I am asking local people to study the images and footage issued very carefully and contact us immediately if they have information that could help.

“Please work with us to help keep your communities safe.”
