Set in 1950s Harlem, New York, this romantic drama follows the journey of a young woman (Thompson) who meets an aspiring saxophonist (Nnamdi Asomugha) in her father’s record shop. The stirring film shows the development of their rollercoaster love story, which transcends time, locations and career successes and failures.

The film also features former Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria, How To Get Away With Murder star Aja Naomi King and the Bridgerton fan-favorite (Duke of Hastings) Regé-Jean Page.
