Celebrate ‘Dry January’ with these creative mocktails from TikTok

After an indulgent holiday season, sometimes you need a break from drinking. However, cutting back on alcohol doesn’t have to restrict you to lackluster beverage options. Mocktails can be just as fun and delicious as their alcoholic counterparts, minus the hangover! If you’re doing a “Dry January” and abstaining from alcohol this month, here are five creative mocktail recipes to keep you “mock”-upied.

1. Immune defense blueberry pomegranate fizz mocktail

This tasty mocktail packs an immune-boosting punch. Begin by adding pomegranate juice, lemon juice, agave and your choice of immune defense powder to a glass and froth. Next, add ice and blueberry kombucha. Then garnish with a mint leaf.

2. Ginger lemon mocktail

Enjoy the power of lemon and ginger in the form of a mocktail. First, add ice, lemon juice and seltzer to a shaker. Once shaken, pour your mocktail into a margarita glass. Then finish with a slice of raw ginger.

3. Thyme and blackberry mocktail

This mocktail is “berry” refreshing. Begin by adding sugar to a pot of water, and cook until the sugar is dissolved. Next, add fresh thyme and let it rest for one hour. Then muddle lemons and blackberries together, and combine with seltzer water. Finally, strain the thyme before placing a sprig or two in your mocktail.

4. Grapefruit and rosemary mocktail

What sweeter way to celebrate Dry January than with this grapefruit and rosemary mocktail? This recipe involves muddled grapefruit and rosemary combined with grapefruit juice, which is then strained over a glass with ice. Once enough grapefruit juice has been added, top the mocktail with tonic water and garnish with a slice of grapefruit.

5. Ginger ‘no-jito’ mocktail

This mocktail is perfect for people who aren’t big fans of fruity drinks. Begin by muddling ginger, cucumber, lime and mint. Then strain into a Mason jar. Next, add ice, ginger ale and sparkling water. Garnish with cucumber shavings and lime slices, and cheers!
