Manchester City will face Chelsea in the Uefa Champions League after the Premier League rivals saw off Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid respectively in the semi-finals.

Man City breezed through the second leg of their semi-final against PSG. With both sides chasing their first ever Champions League triumph, City headed into the return leg 2-1 up - and two goals from Riyad Mahrez secured a 2-0 win on the night, and 4-1 on aggregate, to book their spot in the final.

Chelsea then joined City to tee up an all-English final as goals from Timo Werner and Mason Mount secured a 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge on the night, and a 3-1 aggregate victory.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Champions League Final...

When is the Champions League final 2021?

The 2020/21 Champions League will take place on Saturday, May 29, 2021.

Champions League final kick-off time

The exact timing for the game has yet to be confirmed, but as with the majority of the key Champions League fixtures, it is likely that the match will get underway at 8pm BST.

Champions League final venue

The match currently remains scheduled to take place at Attaturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey.

The stadium opened in July 2002, and has a capacity of 76,761.

However, Uefa are in discussions over moving the Final to either Wembley or back to Portugal given Turkey’s rising coronavirus cases.

Champions League final tickets

Uefa has yet to place restrictions on the amount of tickets which can be sold for the game, meaning Turkish officials will make the decision regarding how many fans can attend.

Chelsea and Man City fans could in theory attend the final given the UK Government’s ban on non-essential international travel ends on May 17.

However, the final call on who can attend games will be down to Turkish officials.

Japan is barring foreign supporters from entering Japan to attend this summer’s Olympics, and Turkey could opt for a similar stance - especially given Covid-19 cases remain high in the country.
