Charles Leclerc music: Ferrari star releases his second single
Charles Leclerc has dropped a new single in the wake of the Miami Grand Prix, as his fledgling music career continues to take shape.
The life of a Formula 1 driver is certainly hectic, with the commitment to travelling around the world to compete involving a great deal of sacrifice when it comes to life away from the circus.
When the drivers do get some downtime then, it is vital for them to make the most of it, and Leclerc has found a passion away from Formula 1 in the form of music.
Specifically the piano, which is the centrepiece for Leclerc’s second single released following the Miami Grand Prix, titled ‘MIA23 (1:2)’.
It is impressive that while Leclerc can play the instrument liked a seasoned pro, it was only during the time of the global pandemic that he started to learn how to play piano, falling in love with it from there.
“My love for music has always been there, but it wasn’t until the pandemic that I started playing the piano,” states Leclerc on his Spotify profile, where this second single has been released.
“With more time at home, I decided to buy a piano and learn to play. Since then, I’ve fallen in love with the instrument and find myself playing it whenever I’m at home.”

This track follows Leclerc’s debut piano-based release after the Australian Grand Prix, which was recorded following positive reaction from his fanbase after playing it as part of an Instagram story post.
His debut single, ‘AUS23 (1:1)’ has since gone on to receive over 3.1 million plays, making this a project which Leclerc could very much continue to establish during his Formula 1 career and continue beyond it.
Of course, Leclerc has a great deal of unfinished business in Formula 1 to tackle before truly casting an eye to what comes next, the main goal being to become a World Champion.
He had a sniff of such glory in the early rounds of F1 2022, but he and the Ferrari team are still fighting to recover lost ground with rivals Red Bull having grown only more dominant in F1 2023, having wrestled control away from Ferrari last season to record a comfortable title double.
Leclerc is already 85 points adrift of Championship leader Max Verstappen, so it feels very much like 2024 will be Leclerc’s next opportunity at a title push without a remarkable turnaround in form for Ferrari.
