It wouldn't be much of an exaggeration to say Selling Sunset was one of the only things that made 2020 worthwhile. Thanks to Netflix dropping seasons two and three mere months apart, we were treated to everything from Mary Fitzgerald and Romain Bonnet's wedding day to Christine Quinn's winter wonderland - and the heartbreaking scenes of Chrishell Stause's divorce.

So that's why we were thrilled to hear the series is 100% coming back for a fourth season AND fifth season. Yep, the lovely folks over at Netflix confirmed Selling Sunset season four will air later this year. Excited? Sure you are. Read on for everything else we know about Selling Sunset season 4:

Do we have a Selling Sunset season 4 trailer?

Our first glimpse at the real estate agents in action dropped on 11th November, and of course it looks dramatic. As well as Jason Oppenheim revealing Davina Portratz has left the firm(!) we also meet the two new stars, Emma and Vanessa, and watch some drama unfold as Christine Quinn goes on maternity leave. Oooh it looks good.

When is Selling Sunset season 4 released?

In October 2021, Netflix revealed when our favourite Los Angeles estate agents will be back on our screens, and it's soon! Mark it in your diaries, people: 24th November.

Announcing the news, Mary Fitzgerald wrote, "SAVE THE DATE! Wednesday, November 24, catch us back on the big screen for the newest season of SELLING SUNSET! 💫 We can’t wait for you guys to see it!"

Who will star in Selling Sunset season 4?

Exciting news incoming: there are some new real estate agents! Netflix revealed on 26th May, "Selling Sunset fans, those Oppenheim couches are getting a little more crowded in Season 4. Vanessa Villela, a Mexican-American novela star turned real estate agent and Emma Hernan, an entrepreneur who has an interesting history with the ladies have joined the cast."

Speaking about the new additions to the team, Chrishell told US Weekly, "obviously, it definitely stirs the pot a little bit. You never know what people’s reactions are going to be," she said, "but I’ve really enjoyed working with them."

Of course, not everyone on the show has been getting along quite so well with their new team mates. "It’s Selling Sunset, so I can’t say that’s been the case with everyone, or we wouldn’t have a show,” Chrishell added, “but they are really great.”

Given the, err, drama that goes down at the brokerage, Chrishell revealed she felt it was her "duty" to help the newbies settle in. "Even if we weren’t filming a show, it’s a tough, competitive market," she said, "then, of course, you add the show to it and it just kind of amplifies everything. So I definitely felt a little bit that it was my duty to kind of help them navigate."

As well as welcoming the two new real estate agents to the series, Netflix also confirmed the entire existing cast would be back in action, despite all the changes that have happened since Selling Sunset season 3 launched. Namely, both Brett *and* other mysterious cast members have reportedly decided to leave the brokerage.

According to Christine, "Brett has left to start his own brokerage. It may be the battle of the brokerages! I think season four is going to be the juiciest season ever."

Chrishell, meanwhile, added that other people had left the brokerage - but she didn't reveal who. "I'm not going to sugar coat it," she said on Good Morning Britain in September 2020. "We're not all friends, we don't all get along. But we try to. Some people have left, the brokerage has split, if the cameras picked up now, there's a lot to pick up on."

In October 2020, it was also confirmed Davina Potratz had joined a rival firm. Davina announced she'll be moving to Douglas Elliman in Beverly Hills, revealing they offered her a package she couldn't turn down. "I’m really excited to be a part of Douglas Elliman and their very sophisticated and global new development division," she told People magazine.

Still, Netflix say they're all back, so who knows what might happen!

When was Selling Sunset season 4 filmed?

Over the weekend of 8th May, the real estate agents took to social media to share snaps and videos from filming, delighting fans with news that season 4 was in production.

"Me & my GIRLS, back like we never left 😚💖 It’s been so long since we’ve all been able to be in the office together but we’re back and SO happy to be reunited!!!" Heather wrote on Instagram.

Chrishell added, "I love when doing things I love, with people I love, can be called 'work.'", while Mary added, "We’re back baby! Selling Sunset Season 4 & 5 coming to you so so sooooon!!! ⭐️🎥"

When was Selling Sunset season 4 confirmed by Netflix?

On 10th March, Netflix announced a fourth series has officially been commissioned. Of course, we kinda knew it was always going to be renewed because it's a reality TV gem and because the Selling Sunset cast haven't stopped spilling season four secrets since last August. In fact, Mary Fitzgerald was the latest cast member to share a major update, revealing to Radio Times that the brokerage has split and Brett Oppenheim has left to set up his own agency.

"My understanding is, whenever we do it, everyone is coming back. I don’t know how Davina plays into that because she did leave the group, so I’m not really sure how that’s going to work out. I haven’t spoken to her."

She added, "We do have a couple of new agents. We keep trying to tell production and Netflix that we want a couple of the other girls on the show because they’re really good friends of ours, so I think it would be good to have some new faces, but I don’t know what they’re going to choose.”

What could happen in Selling Sunset season 4?

It's hard to know for sure, considering production was put on hold for over a year due to the pandemic. But some topics of interest could include:

Heather Rae Young's engagement to Tarek El Moussa

The cameras might not have been rolling, but we know Heather recently got engaged to boyfriend Tarek. While the engagement itself won't feature in a fourth season, we have no doubt much more of their relationship will. Could another Selling Sunset wedding be on the cards?

Maya's move to Miami

Maya was floating the idea of opening up her own real estate agency in Miami during season 3, which could take centre stage in a follow up season. Interestingly, her personal website suggests Maya’s working in Miami full-time now - could the transition already have happened? Eek!

Amanza's own design company

Before joining the Oppenheim Group, Amanza was a stager - meaning it was her job to make houses look beautiful before they were sold. The star recently took to Instagram to reveal she had set up her own design company, AmanZa LLC, writing, "AmanZa LLC. Can transform your space! All I need is some red paint and banana wallpaper! Oh, and a pencil behind my ear, yes! Can’t forget the pencil behind the ear! 🤪"

More drama between Chrishell and Christine

Chrishell and Christine's relationship seems to create just as much drama off screen as it does on. Since season 3 dropped, the pair have fallen out over Chrishell blocking Christine, Christine allegedly talking about Chrishell's relationship to the press, and comments Christine made about Chrishell's divorce from Justin Hartley.

Christine's pregnancy journey

In February, Christine announced she's expecting her first child with husband Christian Richard which means we're likely to get to see some of the realtor's pregnancy journey. Cute!

Chrishell and Jason's relationship

In July 2021, Chrishell and Jason shocked fans when they went Instagram official with their relationship. They shared a series of photos to Instagram and have since been spotted together on the red carpet.

Given that season four is just around the corner, it's likely we'll get to see a glimpse of their relationship on the show as well as how it affects the dynamic at the The Oppenheim Group.

Speaking about the couple, Christine told TMZ (via US Weekly): "The second she [Chrishell] walked into the office, it was definitely love at first sight."

"There were sparks flying, I mean, we all saw it," she added, before addressing whether or not their relationship affected the business. "I personally think, you know, there’s a lot of favouritism involved — I haven’t seen it, personally, with Chrishell," she continued, "But I have seen it with Mary, so I know it does happen."

Could Mary and Romain start a family?

After Mary received good news from the fertility clinic in season three, we saw how keen Romain was to have children with his new wife. Pair that with the fact that the pair were looking at buying their first house, could starting a family be on the cards in season 4? Exciting!
