Chrissy Teigen has given an update on her family following the sad loss of her third child.

Two weeks ago, the model announced she had miscarried her baby boy, Jack, after being hospitalised following bleeding issues with her third pregnancy.

The 34-year-old returned to Instagram on Friday, writing: "We are quiet but we are okay. Love you all so much."

The words captioned a screenshot of a tweet made by Legend, 41, where he dedicated his Billboard Music Awards performance to her.

"This is for Chrissy," he shared. "I love and cherish you and our family so much. We’ve experienced the highest highs and lowest lows together. Watching you carry our children has been so moving and humbling."

“In the Twitter thread, he added: “Thank you to everyone who has been sending us prayers and well wishes, flowers, cards, words of comfort and empathy. We feel and appreciate your love and support more than you know.”

The couple are also parents to daughter Luna, four, and son Miles, two.

It was the first time Teigen had posted to Instagram since she disclosed their tragic news on the platform.

She accompanied the post with intimate pictures of herself and Legend with their son in hospital, writing: “We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before.

“We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough.”

Teigen and Legend were commended for openly discussing their baby loss as it encouraged many others to open up about their experiences.

Stars including Kate Beckinsale and Myleene Klass have subsequently revealed their own private struggles.

On Thursday, Klass told her Instagram followers she had experienced four miscarriages before welcoming her youngest child Apollo, one, into the world last year.
