Being a public figure may seem glamorous, but with it comes an endless stream of trolls unabashedly giving their two cents on your body.

Last week, “Flip or Flop” star Christina Anstead responded to overwhelming censure regarding her weight, after sharing a mirror selfie on Instagram.

"My fav attire black on black on black,” the HGTV star wrote under the photo, along with the hashtag “#johnnycashvibes” — a nod to the late, great, country music legend.

Unfortunately, fans seemed far too distracted by Anstead’s slim figure to care much for her clever quip.

While there were plenty of positive comments on her outfit, hair extensions, and notably stunning bathroom, they were met with an equal number of remarks suggesting that she must be unwell.

“I hope she doesn’t have an eating disorder,” one person commented while another asked “Have you eaten in the last few days?”

“You’re beautiful, but you really aren’t looking well. I hope you find some support for whatever it is you’re going through. We all go through things - it’s important to take care of ourselves,” someone else wrote.

“Dear God, you are way too thin, it looks sickly. You’re a beautiful girl put some meat on those bones,” one person said.

“Just a little too much weight loss... you could use about 10 lbs! Just saying! I tend to be thin too, but girl you’re gonna blow over!,” wrote another.

The “Christina on the Coast” star initially pushed back against the criticism by limiting the comments on her post, bringing the body-shaming to a temporary halt. She then shared a video to her story, firing back at the haters with the caption, “Chill people - I eat, and I eat healthy.”

“So, people are commenting that I look really skinnier and that I need to eat," Anstead began, explaining that this has always been her pre-pregnancy weight and therefore, should not be a cause for concern. “This is actually the weight I have always weighed. You guys have just watched me have babies and go back to my original weight, so don't worry. Everything is fine.”
