Aviva Investors
The asset management business has appointed Katherine Wade to its equity investment team. She has more than 20 years’ experience and joins from Citigroup, where she was an equity sales generalist. Prior to that, Wade held sales and research roles at NatWest Securities and Bankers Trust.

Deutsche Bank
The bank has announced the appointment of Michael Grimaldi as chief information officer in its corporate banking and securities and global transaction banking, divisions. He was most recently at Goldman Sachs, where he was a partner and global head of securities division technology. Before that, Grimaldi worked
in mobile telecommunications R&D at GTE Government Systems.

Santander
The bank has hired Mauricio Munguia as an international director for London and the South East in its corporate and commercial division. He has 20 years’ experience in the banking sector and joins from HSBC, where he was an executive director for global transactional banking.

Towers Watson
Keith Goodby has been appointed as a senior investment consultant in the business advisory firm’s insurance investment advisory group. He was formerly director of investments and capital (savings) at Legal & General. Prior to that, Goodby was an actuarial consultant at Tillinghast Towers Perrin.

Brown Shipley
The private bank has announced the appointment of David Thompson as a private client director in its London office. He previously spent over 25 years at Coutts, where he most recently led its sports and entertainment business.

Moore Stephens
Nick Warner has joined the consultancy firm as a VAT partner in its insurance industry group. He was most recently at BDO, where he was a VAT partner and head of its Southern VAT team. Warner previously held senior roles at Grant Thornton, Zurich Financial Services and KPMG.

Boodle Hatfield
The law firm has made two appointments. Andrea Zavos joins as a partner in its contentious trusts and estates team. She was formerly a partner at Speechly Bircham. Olivia Tassell has been promoted to partner. She joined in 2007 from Eversheds.
