City Moves for 24 April 2014 | Who’s switching jobs

Bircham Dyson Bell
Harriet Morgan has been appointed partner in the law firm’s private wealth team. She joins from Reed Smith, where she has been a tax partner since 2006. Morgan has particular experience in tax issues involving banking and asset finance, private equity and real estate.

AMP Capital
The specialist investment manager has appointed Kate Campbell as institutional director, Europe, based in its London office. She joins from JP Morgan, where she was executive director, capital introduction, for prime brokerage. Campbell has also held roles at Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs.

Alvarez & Marsal
The professional services firm has appointed Tom Teixeira as a managing director in its risk advisory services practice. He was previously practice leader of integrated risk management services for Willis Group, the insurance brokers. Teixeira has also held roles at Rolls Royce and the Ministry of Defence, where he began his career as a project manager for the Defence Procurement Agency.

Hymans Roberston
The pensions, benefits and risk consultancy has appointed Stephen Makin as a senior risk consultant in its enterprise risk management practice. He most recently ran his own consultancy business, and is also a former head of longevity research at Prudential.

Havas Sports & Entertainment
The brand engagement network of the Havas Group has appointed Tove Okunniwa as chief executive of Havas Sports & Entertainment UK. She joins after seven years at MEC Access UK, where she was managing director. Okunniwa has also held senior positions at the BBC, where she was head of marketing for BBC Sport and head of digital marketing.

Latham & Watkins
Tom Alabaster has been appointed partner in the law firm’s London-based corporate department. He joins from the New York offices of The Carlyle Group, where he was senior counsel. He has particular experience in fund formation, acquisitions, financings, restructurings, dispositions and deal structuring across jurisdictions. Alabaster has also held positions at Debevoise & Plimpton and Slaughter and May.
