Collagen is often talked about in the beauty world as some what of a miracle worker. You’ve probably seen collagen in powders, supplements, creams, injections and more. And now, Dose & Co, a brand which totes Khloe Kardashian as an investor, makes a collagen-boosted coffee creamer.

Dose & Co Collagen Creamers come in two delicious flavors — caramel and vanilla. (There are also dairy-free versions of each.) Simply add a heaping tablespoon to your morning cup of joe and enjoy. You can also add it to smoothies, milk or bake with it.

Both the dairy and non-dairy creamers contain 10 grams of bovine collagen in each serving. Plus, they are gluten-free, sugar-free and GMO-free.

The point is that by taking a daily dose of collagen, you could help improve your skin, hair and nails, as well as other parts of the body.

What is Dose & Co?

Dose & Co’s founder, Libby Matthews, wrote on the brand’s website that she originally studied nutrition and naturopathy as a way to treat health conditions like eczema, acne and thyroid issues. However, she found that many health supplements had fillers and other un-natural ingredients. Hence, she created Dose & Co collagen powders and creamers, made with only natural and sustainable ingredients.

Kardashian wrote on the brand’s site that when she first discovered Dose & Co and gave it a try, she knew she had to get more involved. The reality star and business mogul had already been a long-time advocate for using collagen supplements. So in October 2020, she became an official investor in the brand.

“The minute I tasted the range, I knew it was something I wanted to be more involved in. I was so impressed by the results and the vision, not to mention the ingredients, which are all natural,” she wrote.

What is collagen anyway — and why would you take a supplement?

Collagen is actually an essential protein that our own bodies produce. According to the Cleveland Clinic, it’s in your skin, muscles, bones, organs, ligaments, tendons — just about everything. But as you age (or if you have a really poor diet), your body tends to produce less of it.

As your collagen levels decrease, you may start to notice things like wrinkles, weakening muscles, joint pain or even gastrointestinal issues.

To help encourage your body’s natural production, you’ll need to eat a combination of foods that are high in protein and vitamin C. However, a collagen supplement may help as well.

Dose & Co’s Instagram is filled with testimonials from customers who said the collagen supplements helped clear up acne and other skin woes.

You can purchase Dose & Co’s creamers and powders on its website or find it at stores like GNC and Amazon (which both offer free shipping). One canister is about 17 servings and starts at $25.99. The dairy-free creamer costs $29.99.
