Keeping your living space organized can be difficult if you have roommates or a small space. The key to making it work? Multi-functional furniture, like this Harmati Lift Top Coffee Table with Storage that can easily transform your communal area into a makeshift office.

No lie, living with roommates for a long period of time can sometimes become grueling when working from home. If you don’t want to stay holed up in your room, take a break and work outside of your four walls. When you need to switch up your workspace, this genius Lift Top Coffee Table easily converts to a desk with enough surface area to fit a laptop and a pad for taking notes. When you’re done working, simply fold it back down and it’s a sleek coffee table.

This desk-coffee table is also perfect for those in small spaces even without roommates. It’s modern and chic, but also functional thanks to the lift-up top which you can use as an eating tray. As an added bonus, the coffee table has hidden storage with plenty of space for knickknacks, plus a cubby shelf that you can use to show off books or other prized possessions.

Although the coffee table doesn’t have a lot of reviews, it’s already got a high rating of 4.3 out of five stars from customers. Shoppers say this beautiful home piece is easy to set up

“Assembly was easy (~45mins), the table is sturdy, love the lift top (and the lock) and not to mention the table looks stunning,” one shopper wrote. “This design and functionality seem really difficult to find at most stores. Even if you find something it will cost $300+. Glad I found this one on page 17 or 18 of the Amazon search listing and decided to purchase.”

Another customer explained how much use they get out of the coffee table storage.

“I was very happy that not only is this useful as a table, but it also provides storage,” they wrote. “It is really useful for storing items you like to keep near, like a book, blanket, remotes and much more. Additionally, when opening the tabletop to the storage, you can create a higher, useful surface for your iPad or laptop.”

You can never have too much storage in a small space, and this multifunctional piece checks all the boxes.
