Yahoo Finance Beauty YouTuber lands in legal battle with the Kardashian-West family after spreading cheating rumors: 'Completely and entirely false'
The beauty blogger was making a lot of claims online about an alleged affair with one of the Kardashians.
There’s another player involved in the Jeffree Star/Kanye West drama, and it’s beauty guru Cole Carrigan.
To get you up to speed: In January, controversial influencer Ava Louise claimed in a now-viral TikTok video that makeup mogul Jeffree Star was having an affair with rapper Kanye West. Star denied these rumors, and Louise later admitted that everything she said was just a ploy to get attention.
However, while the Jeffree Star/Kanye West rumors are yesterday’s news, Cole Carrigan is continuing to claim that he did, in fact, have an affair with Kanye West — and he says he has proof.
Carrigan was no stranger to controversy before all this. Keep reading to learn more about the former Team 10 member and his alleged involvement with Kanye West.
Who is Cole Carrigan?
Cole Carrigan is a 22-year-old self-taught makeup artist and YouTuber. Born on July 3, 1998, he grew up in Dallas, Texas, but now resides in Los Angeles.
He focuses on special effects makeup, or SFX makeup, and is famous for creating Star’s Louis Vuitton Massacre Halloween costume in 2018. Carrigan is also a former member of Team 10, Jake Paul’s social media incubator house.
Carrigan has 229,000 YouTube subscribers, 342,000 Instagram followers and 345,000 TikTok followers at the time of writing.
In 2019, he was nominated for the American Influencer Awards’ “Creative Makeup Artist of the Year” award.
Carrigan has been involved in many feuds and alleged scams.

In May 2019, Carrigan accused YouTuber Cameron Dallas of homophobic bullying after he claimed Dallas threw a bottle of water at him.
“The kid was shook that I started recording him and froze up real f****** quick,” he said on Twitter after the fight. “It’s 2019. If you’re still homophobic or insecure about your own sexuality so you have to take it out on people who are confident with theirs, you’re TRASH.”
Dallas never said much about the incident, though in an interview with The Hollywood Fix, he claimed that he’s “not homophobic” in response to a question about the altercation.
In July 2019, Carrigan was kicked out of Jake Paul’s Team 10 talent organization. Paul accused the makeup artist of being lazy, but Carrigan refuted that and said the group created a hostile and homophobic work environment.
In October 2019, Carrigan accused Austin McBroom, of YouTube’s ACE Family, of raping his friend and another unidentified woman. In response, McBroom shared alleged messages from Carrigan in which the beauty YouTuber apparently tried to extort $100,000 from him to keep the sexual assault allegations secret.
“My intentions were wrong in the beginning but I realized what was more important and THAT is why my video was uploaded with factual evidence. No amount of [money] was EVER involved,” Carrigan tweeted.
After a year of accusing others, accusations were leveraged against Carrigan in October 2020. Fans claimed that Carrigan was scamming them by charging $100 per shoutout on his Instagram page and not actually following through.
People became suspicious when Carrigan instructed them to label their payments under “family and friends” instead of business to avoid tax fees. Many fans came out and said they paid Carrigan, but he never fulfilled their orders.
What is going on between Carrigan and Kanye West?
Drama is the gift that keeps on giving. Now in 2021, Carrigan has implicated himself in the alleged Kanye West infidelity drama.
As stories circulate that West and Kim Kardashian are headed for divorce, cheating rumors have followed.
It all started with TikToker Ava Louise (who’s famous for telling Dr. Phil she would “rather die hot than live ugly”). Recently, Louise dropped a huge bomb on TikTok with absolutely no evidence.
“Now that Kim is finally doing this, I feel like I can spill the tea that I’ve been holding onto for months,” Louise said. “This whole divorce comes as no surprise. Kanye has been hooking up with a very famous beauty guru. Male beauty guru. A lot of people in the scene have known for a while.”

People first believed the “male beauty guru” was Jeffree Star, but Star flatly denied the claims. That’s when Carrigan happily stepped up as the secret lover.
In January, Carrigan dueted Louise’s video and giggled at a message in which someone accused him of performing oral sex on West.
Carrigan proceeded to make even more claims on TikTok and even shared alleged evidence of his affair with West.
In one TikTok, Carrigan showed alleged footage of the party he met West at in Bel Air. He claimed he was asked by West’s security guard to sign a non-disclosure agreement preventing him from discussing their meeting.
After showing the alleged footage, Carrigan uploaded another TikTok in which he showed a legal document that he claimed is from West’s security guard. It’s supposedly a letter threatening legal action if Carrigan doesn’t publicly apologize to West and Kim Kardashian.
In the video, Carrigan said sorry to Kardashian and claimed that he leaked the information simply because West voted for the outgoing president.
It’s unclear whether Carrigan’s “proof” is actually real, though he continues to insist that it is. And though West has not spoken publicly about the divorce rumors or the cheating rumors, his former bodyguard has apparently sent Carrigan a cease-and-desist letter, claiming that he’s never heard of or spoken to the YouTuber.
