  • Shares of La Quinta Holdings Inc. LQ increased 3.8% after Wyndham Worldwide Corporation WYN decided to acquire La Quinta’s hotel management and franchise business for $1.95 billion

  • J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc’s JBHT shares rose 0.7% after posting fourth-quarter adjusted earnings of $1.04 per share, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate by a cent

  • Shares of M&T Bank Corporation MTB climbed 3.9% after announcing that following the new tax reform it will spend around $25 million to improve the minimum wage for its hourly workers
