• Sempra Energy’s SRE shares jumped 15.5% following the news that activist investors Elliot Management and Bluescape Resources have suggested a “value creation” strategy for the company

• Shares of Adient plc ADNT plunged 15.6% after projecting yearly adjusted EBITDA of around $1.25 billion for fiscal 2018, lower than previous estimate of $1.40 billion to $1.45 billion
