Yahoo Finance 'Coronation Street' actor self-isolating over coronavirus fears
Coronation Street has confirmed that one of the soap’s cast members is self-isolating over coronavirus fears.
The actor – who has not been identified – does not have any symptoms of the illness but made the decision to self-isolate as a precaution.
It is thought the actor took the step after returning from a holiday.

A spokesperson for the ITV soap said: “The cast member concerned took the decision to self-isolate as a precaution.
“They haven’t been in to work and they are showing no symptoms.
“There has been no disruption to filming.”
The coronavirus was first detected in the Chinese city of Wuhan at the end of last year, but it has now been reported in more than 50 countries.
So far there have been more than 90,000 cases globally, with 116 confirmed cases in the UK.
More than 3,000 people have died of the virus.

The outbreak was a factor in the new James Bond movie No Time To Die being delayed by several months.
And many music stars have postponed shows in recent days, including Mariah Carey, Slipknot, Stormzy, Avril Lavigne and BTS.
Green Day also took the decision to postpone shows in Asia, telling fans on social media: “We know it sucks.”
Other public figures have self-isolated as a precaution, with Radio 4’s Nick Robinson and news presenter Jon Snow both doing so.
Robinson made the decision following a trip to Vietnam and Cambodia, while Snow did so after visiting Iran.

During his isolation, Snow has posted updates on social media including an image showing he had killed some time by organising his ties.
