Watch: Vigilante killed thief who stole his motorbike after ramming him in car
Footage has been released of a vigilante chasing two thieves who stole his motorbike, later ploughing his car into them and killing one of them.
Mihai Dinisoae gave chase after the men stole his motorbike from outside his house, prompting a high-speed pursuit through Newcastle.
He eventually knocked the thieves off the motorbike, killing pillion passenger Joshua Molloy who was thrown from the bike and against a lamp post.
Dinisoae was jailed on Wednesday for 10 years for the manslaughter of Molloy after being cleared of murdering the 28-year-old following a trial at Newcastle Crown Court.
Northumbria Police released dramatic footage of the chase following the court case.

The force said Molloy and an associate had stolen Dinisoae’s motorcycle from outside his home, prompting the Romanian national to give chase in his Vauxhall Vectra.
A high-speed pursuit over several miles took place early on the morning of 5 May, with CCTV showing Dinisoae driving the wrong way round roundabouts and repeatedly ramming the motorbike with the car.
After knocking the men off the bike, he left them both severely injured in the street.
Molloy died at the scene, while the 29-year-old motorcycle driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries but survived.
Dinisoae was later arrested by police and admitted he had chased the pair but claimed they lost control. A jury cleared him of murder but he admitted the manslaughter of Molloy.
Detective Inspector Joanne Brooks said: “I have no doubt that Mihai Dinisoae had completely lost control of his emotions and was intent on chasing down his victims.
“He made no attempts to alert authorities of the theft and instead tried to chase down the two men himself to get his hands on his property.
“The footage demonstrates just how mindless the actions of Dinisoae were that morning and he has ultimately led to Josh’s death.”
