Investing.com - CVS Health Corp reported on Wednesday fourth quarter earnings that beat analysts' forecasts and revenue that topped expectations.

CVS Health Corp announced earnings per share of $1.73 on revenue of $66.89B. Analysts polled by Investing.com anticipated EPS of $1.68 on revenue of $63.94B. That with comparison to EPS of $2.14 on revenue of $54.42B in the same period a year before. CVS Health Corp had reported EPS of $1.84 on revenue of $64.81B in the previous quarter. Analysts are expecting EPS of $1.62 and revenue of $62.19B in the upcoming quarter.

CVS Health Corp shares are down 0.59% from the beginning of the year , still down 4.13% from its 52 week high of $77.03 set on November 25, 2019. They are under-performing the S&P 500 which is up 3.49% year to date.
