Daily Digit is the story behind the numbers that make our world work. Today we’re looking at whether your employer is monitoring your work activity. According to a new survey, 73 percent of employees think employers are surveilling their activity. And they’re right. A majority of employers do check employee emails, but they may be snooping through other things as well. Although many employees believe surveillance at work is acceptable, millennials are least accepting.
