Investing.com - Danaher (NYSE:DHR) reported third quarter earnings that beat analysts' expectations on Thursday and revenue that topped forecasts.

The firm reported earnings per share of $1.16 on revenue of $5.04B. Analysts polled by Investing.com anticipated EPS of $1.15 on revenue of $5.02B. That compared to EPS of $1.1 on revenue of $4.85B in the same period a year earlier. The company had reported EPS of $1.19 on revenue of $5.16B in the previous quarter.

Danaher follows other major Technology sector earnings this month

On Wednesday, Microsoft reported first quarter EPS of $1.38 on revenue of $33.06B, compared to forecasts of EPS of $1.24 on revenue of $32.14B.
