Dancing on Ice returns to our screens later this month, providing a much-needed antidote to our January blues.

ITV’s long-running competition series is back for its 13th series, with 12 new celebrities hoping to progress from wobbly legged Bambis to graceful skaters, all while impressing the judges in the process.

While the introduction of yet another national lockdowns across the UK this week led fans to question whether the show would be able to go ahead in 2021, ITV confirmed on Wednesday (6 January) that things would be continuing as planned.

Beginning on Saturday 17 January, Dancing on Ice series 13 will once again be presented by This Morning hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.

The judging panel remains unchanged from last year, with former professional skaters Jane Torvill and Christopher Dean – who have appeared on the show since it first began in 2006 – joined by Diversity’s Ashley Banjo and John Barrowman.

Here are the 12 celebrities competing:

Graham Bell – Former Olympic skier

Faye Brookes – Former Coronation Street actor

Jason Donovan – Actor and singer

Rufus Hound – Comedian and actor

Colin Jackson – Former Olympic hurdler

Sonny Jay – Radio presenter

Myleene Klass – Presenter and singer

Lady Leshurr – Rapper

Joe-Warren Plant – Emmerdale actor

Billie Shepherd – Former Towie star

Denise van Outen – Actor and presenter

Rebekah Vardy – TV personality

They will be partnered with returning professional skaters Matt Evers, Alexandra Shauman, Łukasz Różycki, Andy Buchanan, Brendyn Hatfield, Hamish Gaman, Mark Hanretty, Robin Johnstone and Vanessa Bauer, all of whom have appeared on previous series of Dancing on Ice.

New additions to the pro line-up will include Klabera Komini, Yebin Mok and Angela Egan.

Dancing on Ice begins Sunday 17 January at 6pm on ITV.
