'Dancing On Ice' 2021 final: Find out who won the series
Sonny Jay has been crowned the winner of Dancing On Ice 2021, in a series dubbed "the worst ever" by viewers.
Fans of the show had been underwhelmed by the performances in the series final, which saw Faye Brooks, Sonny Jay and Colin Jackson battle it out for the winner's title.
Radio presenter Jay, who skated with Angela Egan, said: "That is mental," before lifting the trophy as presenter Phillip Schofield called it a "tricky series".

Schofield also added that he hoped the 2022 series would be "a little easier than this one has been".
The final vote came down to a competition between Jay and Brooks after Jackson was voted out first.
Viewers complained of basic routines, slow performances, a general lack of skating, and overmarking from the beginning of the episode.

Massively over marked. That is the sort of routine I expect week 1, not in the final! I thought faye was very slow on the ice, there wasnt enough solo skating, the content was basic and she spent most of it lying on the Ice #DancingOnIce

Brooks was criticised for spending large sections of her first skate lying down or being lifted, the judges were accused of overmarking Jackson, and people compared the contestants to previous years saying they couldn't measure up to the likes of Ray Quinn or Jake Quickenden.
Stand-in contestant Matt Richardson had viewers laughing as he tripped over his partner in an embarrassing fall during a section celebrating the rest of the 2021 cast.

Dancing On Ice has been plagued by illness and injury this year, with five celebrities having to quit - leading to a week's break mid-series, and the final being brought forward by a week.
Rufus Hound and Joe-Warren Plant both had to leave after positive coronavirus tests, Denise Van Outen dropped out with a broken shoulder, Billie Shepherd left with a concussion, and Jason Donovan was forced out by a back injury.

Pro skater Yebin Mok didn't make it to the ice with her partner Graham Bell as he accidentally stabbed her in the leg with his skate during training.

Hamish Gaman, who originally partnered Brooks, had to drop out over a finger injury and was replaced by Matt Evers, who had skated with Van Outen.
The series used up both of its reserve contestants, Amy Tinkler and Matt Richardson, early in its run and had no one left to replace the later drop outs.
Myleene Klass, who was voted out first despite being one of the biggest names in the cast, revealed that she had injured her knee on the show as she returned for the final, and wasn't able to skate out onto the ice.
