'Dancing On Ice': Who was the surprise first celebrity to be voted out?
Myleene Klass has become the first celebrity to be voted out of Dancing On Ice 2021.
She was one of the series’ biggest star signings, but struggled in training and was shown telling pro partner Lukasz Rozycki that she found it “almost impossible”.
They had to go up against Lady Leshurr and Brendyn Hatfield in the series’ first skate-off which pitted this week and last week’s bottom pairs against each other.
It feels too soon to be saying goodbye to @KlassMyleene and @IceLukasz 😭 You'll definitely be missed on the ice! #DancingOnIce pic.twitter.com/4ME1hIUFvj

All four judges voted to keep Lady Leshurr in the competition.
Fans of the show were surprised to see Klass leave first, although they did agree that Lady Leshurr was the better skater.

Klass said: “I’d never skated before, but now I’ve got a skill I learned in lockdown, I mean who’d have thought it.
“Super handy, when the rinks are open, I will be there, Lukasz I’ll have a coffee ready for you.”
At the other end of the skating scale, Capital FM presenter Sonny Jay received a golden ticket from the judges, putting him straight through to next week with immunity from the public vote.
Last week, Rufus Hound became the first person to win one of Dancing On Ice’s new golden tickets and in his acceptance speech he took the opportunity to call out the Government over the free school meals vouchers controversy.
His comments sparked hundreds of Ofcom complaints although many viewers cheered him on too, but he was absent from the studio this week as he is currently self-isolating.
Coronation Street actor Faye Brookes topped the leaderboard with a performance that the judges labelled the strongest debut they had ever seen on the show.
Christopher Dean said: “It was the best first skate we’ve ever had on the show, it was sublime.”
Jayne Torvill agreed: “The best performance we’ve ever had for a first time.”
This week saw the second lot of celebrities take to the ice after the show’s launch last week featuring the first half of contestants.
From next week, they will all perform together in the same show.

The episode also saw former contestant Gemma Collins make a return to the ice to announce the details of a viewer competition.
However, some people watching complained that her segment, which took seconds to complete, could not be classed as essential travel under COVID guidelines.
