Danny Dyer's real life daughter Dani Dyer will appear in EastEnders
EastEnders spoilers follow.
Danny Dyer's real-life daughter will be appearing alongside her dad in EastEnders for a special appearance.
The reality star is set to have a brief stint in the BBC One soap next month for a scene that will see her meeting her dad's character Mick Carter.
In spite of the family connection, Dani has not been lined up to play a new member of the Carter family. Instead, Digital Spy has confirmed that Dani will play a cabbie who gives Mick a ride on the Square.
Dani is said to be only making a brief guest appearance in EastEnders, rather than joining on a recurring basis.
The timing of her cameo is particularly interesting since Mick recently learned of the existence of his long-lost daughter Frankie Lewis (Rose Ayling-Ellis), and is deep in turmoil over daughter Nancy's (Maddy Hill) return to undergo voluntary sterilisation.
This week, Mick has also been stunned to learn that wife Linda (Kellie Bright) is five months pregnant with Max Branning's child after their affair late last year.
In reality, Dani welcomed her own first child – a baby boy she named Santiago – with partner Sammy Kimmence back in January and was publicly congratulated by her dear old dad on social media.
"So my baby had a baby. F**k me we needed some joy this year," the Mick Carter actor wrote on Instagram. "So proud of you @danidyer cannot wait to meet the little beaut."
EastEnders is set to air Dani Dyer's special episode next month on BBC One.
