David Beckham has reportedly signed a £16 million deal with Netflix to chart his rise.

The former football star, 45, will appear in never-seen-before family camcorder footage and photos charting his rise.

His wife Victoria, 46, their four children, famous friends and ex-teammates are expected to contribute to the programme.

A source told the Sun: “It will show a completely different side to David, one the public very rarely get to see.

"David’s family are all massive archivers; they’ve been proudly documenting his career since he was a boy and have kept all the old local newspaper cuttings, school records and team photos throughout the years."

Fans are expected to be treated to footage of birthdays, Christmases and even his early dates with Victoria.
