Yahoo Finance Dawn French debuts lighter hair to "welcome the grey"
Dawn French has ditched her signature dark bob for a lighter look for summer, as she revealed she's embraced growing grey and revealed a dramatic undercut.
The actress and comedian shared two snaps of her new look with fans on Twitter on Thursday (17 June).
Not only has Dawn switched up her hair colour, but she also showed off a surprising and very cool element to her new 'do – an undercut on one side that reveals her naturally grey locks.

Alongside the two selfies, Dawn tweeted: "Going lighter to welcome the grey… with an undercut surprise of real me… Hello there!"
Dawn's tweet has since been flooded with likes and admiring replies from fans on Twitter, with many sharing how much they have enjoyed embracing going grey too.
"Awesome! I've got some lovely white streaks coming along and no intention of hiding them," wrote one follower, while another added: "Love my silver! Will never go back."
