Day trading

A style of trading in which an investor rapidly buys and sells securities usually within the same trading session with the aim of making a substantial profit. Day traders can have positions open for anything from a few minutes to several hours depending on how the security is performing, and may have several trades on the go at any one time. Day trading is highly speculative and can lead to very large losses in a short space of time.
