What to expect from the John Lewis Black Friday 2021 sale?

John Lewis hasn’t yet confirmed what kind of deals will be available this year yet, but we will update this article as soon as we know more, so make sure you bookmark this page to stay up to date on the best savings.

In 2020, the retailer was offering 35% off the Emma Original mattress, making it just over £340 down from £439. It also had 20% off Le Creuset products and Neom Organic candles as well as savings of more than £100 on tumble dryers.

John Lewis also price-matched its competitors in and extended its returns policy to allow shoppers to return unwanted products after lockdown.

What is Black Friday?

The US shopping event first came to the UK back in 2010, and has since become one of the biggest dates on the shopping calendar to grab a discount.

The majority of UK retailers now take part in Black Friday, typically reducing prices on a wide range of products in flash sales, taking place for anywhere from 24 hours to several days.

That's right, many brands begin their Black Friday deals early, and keep prices low for several days after the main event.

When is Black Friday 2021?

Black Friday traditionally falls on the day after Thanksgiving, the American holiday that is celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November every year.

In 2021, this means Black Friday will take place on Friday, 26 November, although the sales are likely to begin early and last into the following week, through to Cyber Monday.
