Just an hour outside of New York City in the small, quaint town of Bedford, New York, lies this little gem of an inn owned by Pretty Woman actor Richard Gere.

The actor, his former wife (Law and Order actress Carey Lowell), and their business partner Russell Hernandez, opened the Westchester county Bedford Post Inn back in 2007.

The two first noticed the inn and 14-acre property while riding their horses on trails nearby and wanted to save the historic structure for the community, according to New York Magazine. The pair renovated and restored the 1762 stone farmhouse and transformed it into an eight-room inn complete with a two restaurants.
