Do you look like young Giannis Antetokounmpo? He wants you for the 'Greek Freak' movie

Giannis Antetokounmpo sent out an amazing tweet on Wednesday afternoon. He put out a casting call for kids that look like him and his brother Thanasis when they were kids. Why? Disney is making a movie about his family.

Giannis also tweeted some photos for reference and a link to the casting call.

There aren’t a lot of details available about the movie, which is being called “Greek Freak” right now, but a short description is available on the casting site.

The story of NBA players GIANNIS ANTETOKOUNMPO and his brother THANASIS. This story recounts their rise, with the help of their family, from undocumented Nigerian immigrants, living in Greece to basketball superstars in America.

Where did Giannis grow up?

Giannis’s story is inspiring. Born in Greece to Nigerian parents, Antetokounmpo and his brother sold watches and wallets on the street to help bring in money for their family since his parents, as immigrants, couldn’t always find work. He started playing street basketball and was discovered at 13 by Spiros Velliniatis, the coach of the amateur Greek team Filathlitikos. He had natural but raw talent, and that’s when his meteoric rise to the NBA began.

If you or someone you know are 5’11 or taller and bear even a passing resemblance to Giannis or Thanasis Antetokounmpo when they were between the ages of 13 and 18, this could be your chance to become a star.
