There's A New Genius Hack For Reheating Pizza So It Doesn’t Go Soggy

There's A New Genius Hack For Reheating Pizza So It Doesn’t Go Soggy

If you’re anything like me, you’ve never in your whole life had any pizza left over from the night before. Seriously… if I order a pizza for myself, you can be damn sure that I will finish the whole thing before an episode of Schitt’s Creek has ended. Maybe even before I get from the front door to the sofa if I’m really hungry…

But, if by some miracle, you do have some leftover pizza hanging around the next day, Domino’s shared a genius hack for reheating it so it doesn’t go soggy. Because, if you do it in the oven it takes foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Plus, those crusts could break your teeth. And if you microwave it, it can end up all soggy and limp, and no one wants that.

According to Domino’s Australia, if you put a slice of pizza in the microwave for 30 seconds with a glass of water, it will come out hot and crispy.

What is this voodoo magic?!

How and why is still unclear, but if you’re a scientist and can explain this, I will be eternally grateful.

And check this incredible hack out too… if you put two slices of pizza together – the sides with the toppings facing each other – you can put them in a waffle-maker of toasted sandwich machine, and you’ll end up with just about the tastiest treat you’ve ever laid your eyes/tongue on.

And now, we have a new hack that we think might rival Domino's genius one.

TikTok user, @aldentediva, has shared the way she reheats pizza to avoid any sogginess, and all you need is a frying pan with a lid...

She recently uploaded a video with the hack for her 1.2 million followers and said not to “knock it til you try it”.

In the clip, she places a slice of pizza in a hot frying pan with a lid and adds a splash of water. After a couple of minutes, she lifts the lid to reveal a hot slice of pizza. The base is still crunchy but the cheese is all melty and lovely.

But that’s not it. Here’s one more pizza reheating hack for you: you know those toaster bags? Well, you can most definitely put a slice of pizza in one of those and stick it in your toaster. Lovely stuff.
