Dream Job Alert: You Can Actually Get Paid to Watch Christmas Movies This December

From House Beautiful

Do you doodle Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas lineup on your calendar? Is Freeform’s Christmas schedule announcement like a holiday in itself? Do you agree that the best way to spread Christmas cheer is by singing loud for all to hear? Then you've found your dream job.

Reviews.org is on the hunt for a “Chief Holiday Cheermeister” with one goal in mind: finding the best Christmas movie of all time. The role sounds pretty difficult, too. You have to watch 25 holiday movies in 25 days. Tough!

You’ll get to choose each film, so go ahead and fill your month with a mixture of classic Christmas movies, romantic Christmas movies, and even your favorite ‘80s Christmas movies. Ree Drummond would definitely make sure Elf and It’s a Wonderful Life are on her list! After the credits roll, you’ll take a brief survey that’ll measure the movie based on its Christmas cheer, nostalgia factor, and all things warm and cozy.

At the end of the 25 days, you’ll not only be paid $2,500, but you’ll also get a year’s worth of streaming subscriptions to seven different platforms. It’s truly the gift that keeps on giving (name that movie!).

You’re probably wondering, what’s the catch? Well, they’re only choosing one person, so you’ll have to keep your fingers crossed if you decide to apply.

Even if you don’t win, you can still spend the month of December catching up on all your favorite family Christmas movies. So really, we’re all winners here!
