Drink-driver takes down street light in late-night crash
A driver has been charged for driving over the limit after crashing into a street light.
A white Citroen van crashed into a street light in Edward Benefer Way, King's Lynn at around midnight on Friday night (September 22), bringing the whole pole down.
In a Tweet, King's Lynn Police said: "Somehow the driver of this vehicle managed to walk away uninjured".
The driver was found to be over the legal amount of alcohol allowed to drink and drive.
They were charged for driving with excess alcohol and are due to appear in court.
One fire crew from Kings Lynn assisted the police.
